Job Summary
The Retail Sales Representative will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the store, including sales, customer service, stock management, and social media engagement. This role requires a trustworthy, detail-oriented, and proactive individual who can work independently, provide exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
- Welcome and assist customers, offering styling and product recommendations.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly sales targets.
- Process cash and POS transactions accurately and maintain proper records.
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure a high-quality shopping experience.
Store Operations & Inventory Management
- Open and close the store daily according to company procedures.
- Monitor and report on stock levels, damages, or discrepancies.
- Assist in periodic stock audits and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare and submit daily or weekly sales and stock reports using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Track all transactions and stock movements accurately.
- Support audit and handover procedures when required.
Social Media & Brand Engagement
- Manage Instagram, WhatsApp Business, and other social platforms for the store.
- Create and post engaging product photos, videos, and promotional content.
- Respond to customer inquiries and process online or social media orders.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND/NCE/HND/BSc in any discipline (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, fashion, or customer service roles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp Business).
- Honest, organized, and dependable.
