Role Summary:
A Property Scouter is responsible for identifying and sourcing available properties for rent or lease, gathering accurate details, and connecting the real estate company with landlords or agents for potential business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Search for available rental properties within assigned areas (streets, estates, communities)
- Identify houses with “To Let”, “For Rent”, or vacant properties
- Collect verified contact details of landlords, caretakers, or agents
- Take clear pictures and videos of the property (interior & exterior where possible)
- Gather key property details:
- Location (full address)
- Rent price
- Type of apartment (self-contained, 1 bed, 2 bed, etc.)
- Facilities available (water, security, parking, etc.)
- Submit property reports daily/weekly in the required format
- Build relationships with local agents, security guards, and caretakers for leads
- Ensure all information provided is accurate and up-to-date Performance Expectations (KPIs)
- Number of valid properties sourced weekly
- Accuracy of property information provided
- Number of successful leads converted to deals
- Speed of reporting new listings
Requirements
- Good knowledge of assigned location (e.g., Ajah, Lekki, Sangotedo etc.)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to approach strangers confidently (agents, landlords, security)
- Basic smartphone skills (camera, WhatsApp, Google Maps)
- Trustworthy and result-driven
Compensation Structure
- 50,000 monthly salary
- 10,000 weekly allowance
