We are seeking a responsible, nurturing, and well-educated Governess to provide high-quality childcare while also supporting the children’s academic development. The ideal candidate will combine caregiving with structured educational guidance, helping to nurture the children’s intellectual, social, and emotional growth in a safe and stimulating environment.Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive daily care and supervision for the children.
Support and assist with schoolwork, assignments, and academic development.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities and learning sessions.
Teach foundational subjects such as reading, writing, numeracy, and general knowledge where necessary.
Encourage good study habits, discipline, and personal development.
Organize creative and educational activities that promote learning and curiosity.
Monitor the children’s progress academically and behaviorally.
Prepare children for school routines, examinations, and educational milestones.
Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and proper conduct at all times.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding the children’s progress and needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
Proven experience working as a Governess, Teacher, Tutor, or Nanny with teaching responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of child development and learning techniques.
Ability to create engaging and structured educational activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, nurturing, and highly responsible personality.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Skills
Teaching certification or background in early childhood education.
Experience with private home tutoring or homeschooling.
Ability to manage children’s schedules and educational routines.
