Job Title: Generator Operator
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos State
Salary: ₦190,000 (NET)
Experience Required: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Generator Operator in a facility management sector is preferred.
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Control and monitor generators, and auxiliary equipment.
* Distribute power among generators.
* Regulate output from generators.
* Solid expertise in electric motors, electrical and mechanical technical skills.
* Operation of generator panels
* Good knowledge of computerized maintenance system.
* Perform preventive maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair of generator systems.
Requirements:
* Minimum of trade test 1-3 certification.
* 2+ years of experience as a generator operator in a facility.
* Knowledge of AC/DC power.
* Service generators with oil changes.
* Must demonstrate technical knowledge of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures.
* Ability use specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
* Good observation skills.
* Very good organizational skills.
* Very good communication skills.
